Seeing them perform live, one discovers they are a rock band although the songs from their major releases ("Relate To Me" from Jack Johnson's Thicker Than Water and "Theatre Of Laughter" from National Lampoon's Adam & Eve) tend to showcase their strong folk / acoustic roots.

After having moved from California to New York, singer/songwriter Brian Wurschum formed a band called The Voyces. Soon the group released “The Angels of Fun” (2003), a mostly folk-oriented effort co-produced by Diego Garrido (The Simpsons, The Squid and the Whale).

That same year, The Voyces would receive international exposure when one of their songs, “Relate To Me,” was included in Jack Johnson’s “Thicker Than Water” film and soundtrack. In 2006, Wurschum joined forces with singer Jude Kastle, and the pair completely re-formed The Voyces (along with drummer Eric Puente and longtime bassist Frank Carreno).

That same year, two of the band's songs found their way into the feature film, "National Lampoon’s Adam & Eve" and the television show, "Monarch Cove."Since "Kissing Like It's Love" first became available for pre-orders, it remained a bestseller at Barnes & Noble dot com (March 18th: #7 in overall sales; April 2nd: #3 on alternative bestseller list), and was in its second pressing well before its official release.

New album, "Let Me Die In Southern California" is due to be released worldwide on September 28th, 2009.
