Chase Rice is a country music singer-songwriter known for his 2019 single “Eyes on You” and having co-written Florida Georgia Line’s smash hit “Cruise.” Chase Rice grew up in Asheville, North Carolina, attending AC Reynolds High School.

He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was a linebacker on the school’s football team. While in college, Rice began playing guitar. After graduating from UNC, Rice was selected to join the Hendrick Motorsports pit crew as the rear tire carrier for Ryan Newman’s Nationwide Series car.

Chase Rice competed on CBS’s “Survivor: Nicargua” in 2010, where he finished as the runner-up to Jud "Fabio" Birza. In the official issue of CBS Watch magazine, commemorating the 15th anniversary of Survivor in 2015, Rice was voted by viewers as the 10th "steamiest" male contestant in Survivor history.

He released the EP Ready Set Roll, featuring the single "Ready Set Roll", on October 15, 2013. The full-length album Ignite the Night was released on August 19, 2014, and includes "Ready Set Roll". On August 27, 2014, Ignite The Night debuted at #1 on Billboard Top Country Albums.

His first #1 single on country radio was “Eyes on You,” which went #1 in 2019. “Eyes on You” was the lead single from Rice’s fourth studio albums, 2017’s Lambs & Lions.
