Cash Cash is an electronic music group from New Jersey. The group consists of three DJs: brothers Jean Paul and Alex Makhlouf and Samuel Frisch. The group's beginnings can be traced to Frisch and Jean Paul's band The Consequence, which they founded in 2002.
In 2008, with Alex as their drummer, they began to call themselves Cash Cash because they had encountered legal issues with their previous group name. Cash Cash's early music has been described as "alternative rock" and "emo pop," although they have always had dance music sensibilities.
In the early 2010s, they started to move away from traditional band instrumentation and towards EDM. Their highest-charting song to date is "Take Me Home," which features Bebe Rexha. They've also remixed singles for artists as renowned as Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Icona Pop, Capital Cities and Bruno Mars.
