Add to FavoritesBenny Blanco is an American record producer and songwriter. In 2013, he won the Hal David Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. He is also a five-time BMI Songwriter of the Year and won the 2017 iHeart Radio Award for Producer of the Year.
He has worked with many well-to-do artists, including Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Halsey, Ed Sheeran, Keith Urban, Kanye West, Sia, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, Wiz Khalifa, Kesha and The Weeknd. In July 2018, Blanco released "Eastside," which features Halsey and Khalid, under his own name.
It peaked at #9 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his first single billed under his name to hit the top ten. However, it was his 27th top ten hit as a writer. Blanco released his first album in 2018 as well.
