The Beaux Arts Trio was one of the most important piano trios, being regarded as pathbreaking for the classical-romantic repertoire.The trio was founded in 1955 at the Tanglewood Music Festival.Its original instrumentation was:- Menahem Pressler (piano)- Daniel Guilet (violin)- Bernard Greenhouse (violoncello)The final instrumentation is:- Menahem Pressler (piano)- Daniel Hope (violin)- Antonio Meneses (violoncello)Beaux Arts Trio disbanded in 2008.
