Tyrone "Tye" Tribbett is a Grammy Award-winning gospel music singer, songwriter, keyboardist, choir director, and founder of the Grammy-nominated and Stellar-Award winning gospel group Tye Tribbett & G.

A. (short for "Greater Anointing"). Tribbett toured with Faith Hill in 2000, leading to work with Will Smith, Usher, Don Henley, Justin Timberlake, and Sting. His 2013 album, Greater Than, earned him the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Album and featured the song "If He Did It Before.

..Same God (Live)," which won the Grammy Award for Best Gospel Song. In 2017, Tribbett released his fifth album, The Bloody Win. Tribbett has made personal appearances in support of the Make A Wish Foundation.

In 2015, he organized the Hate Won’t Win benefit concert to support charities working with survivors and families of the victims of the mass shooting in Charleston, South Carolina. Tribbett was raised in a Pentecostal Apostolic church in Camden, New Jersey.

His father is a pastor and his mother is a minister as well as a well-known disc jockey in the Philadelphia area. He is married to Shanté Tribbett, who was a member of Greater Anointing, and they have two daughters together.
