John Paul White
Add to FavoritesHailing from Tennessee, John Paul White is an American singer-songwriter whose career had its beginnings in The Civil Wars, a folk-rock duo made up of him and Joy Williams. They won four Grammy Awards before the duo broke up in 2014.
In 2016, White released his sophomore solo album, Beulah. His third studio album, The Hurting Kind, was released in early 2019. White is a co-owner of Single Lock Records, which he founded in his hometown of Florence, Alabama.
