Ninja Sex Party (NSP) was founded in 2009 and consists of singer Dan Avidan and keyboardist Brian Wecht. The band, which specializes in comedy rock, is currently based out of Los Angeles. Both Avidan and Wecht have alter-egos they take on for performance.

Avidan portrays Danny Sexbang, an idiotic and hypersexual Jewish man, and Wecht is Ninja Brian, a suicidal, silent ninja. Their topics often include sex, fantasy and love. Their "Under the Covers" album series, started in 2016, was a set of covers the duo released.

The series was their first non-comedic release.
